Enormous servings of lo-mein noodles and fried rice accompany beef and chicken entrees. Traditional favorites like Moo Goo Gai Pan and Sweet and Sour Chicken are served cafeteria style from the ever-growing buffet line in the front of the restaurant. The kitchen will prepare special dishes upon request, but the real charm of this place lies in taking a quick lunch from the food prepared in advance. A big lunch costs no more than $7, and at that price you don't need a fortune cookie. You found good fortune and value when you stepped inside.

It seems most people have never heard of this place, which is difficult to believe given the quality of food served here. Nevertheless, thanks to their oversight, you can always find a table in this little eatery. The sushi is very good, served in traditional and not-so-traditional varieties. A nod to Nashville is the Nashville Roll, which blends crab and smoked salmon with avocado. Those who don't like sushi will appreciate the chicken and beef teriyaki selections.

Choose from simple teriyaki dishes or opt for the udon or noodle dinners. Sushi comes in a variety of combination platters featuring delicious rolls and a side dish. A typical meal will cost $5-$6, and that includes a beverage. The restaurant serves no alcohol, not even hot sake.
