It may not win any awards for authentic Chinese decor, but the food here takes top prize. The menu offers traditional Chinese favorites like moo goo gai pan, fried rice, beef broccoli and kung pao chicken, but the buffet is the destination of most diners. Over 20 selections are offered each day on the enormous serving line. Alongside the oriental delicacies are a few not-so-Asian favorites like macaroni and cheese, french fries and chicken wings, proof that Chinese food takes a back seat to deep fried goodness in Nashville.

You won't be dissapointed. Dragon Garden is takeaway and delivery only. So you can call and have the food delivered to your hotel room, or and pick it up and enjoy a picnic in nearby Centennial Park. Priced to please, pint and quart sized portions are available for an affordable lunch.

Your food arrives at your table almost immediately after you place your order, and if that isn't fast enough, try the enormous buffet. All your favorite Chinese dishes are featured here: egg rolls, sweet and sour chicken, lo mein noodles, fried rice and more. The selection is extensive, and seldom changes, which means you can be assured your favorite traditional Chinese dishes are at the ready whenever you are.

Traditional favorites like Moo Goo Gai Pan and Sweet and Sour Chicken are served cafeteria style from the ever-growing buffet line in the front of the restaurant. The kitchen will prepare special dishes upon request, but the real charm of this place lies in taking a quick lunch from the food prepared in advance. A big lunch costs no more than $7, and at that price you don't need a fortune cookie. You found good fortune and value when you stepped inside.
