111 Broadway Nashville, TN 37201 United States +1 615 251 4677 http://www.gordonbiersch.com/ |
With eight different brews in its vats at all times, Big River is sure to have a flavor and body to suit your taste. From the light Sweet Magnolia to the stout and hearty Iron Horse Dark, you will find micro-brewed nirvana in downtown Nashville. Pints are $3-5, depending on the brew. Should you get hungry from lifting all those mugs, there is a complete lunch and dinner menu. Entrees range from simple burgers and sandwiches to thick and juicy Drunken Rib-eye ($10.95), a 12-ounce rib-eye marinated in beer and served with veggies and baked potato. Review © 2007, Wcities |

Hot food, hot times |
1900 Broadway at 19th Avenue South Nashville, TN 37203 United States +1 615 321 3363 http://www.BroadwayBrewhouse.net/ |
The Broadway Brewhouse & Mojo is Louisiana Cajun style cooking in a casual environment, served up with the largest selection of beer in town. Making this establishment a popular nightspot. Jambalaya and gumbo are never short on heat and are always chock full of crawfish, unlike some of the other so-called Cajun eateries around town. Lovers of Southwestern food will be thrilled to find tortilla dishes loaded with rice and beans, rich sauces and hearty spices. Review © 2007, Wcities |

Nashville-themed memorabilia |
100 Broadway Nashville, TN 37201 United States +1 615 742 9900 http://www.hardrockcafe.com/ |
As you would expect, Nashville's Hardrock includes a lot of country and western memorabilia. Among the more popular items on display are a guitar signed by Stevie Ray Vaughn and recording equipment used by Elvis Presley. It's a popular place, so expect a long wait for your burger and fries, the typical fare at any Hard Rock location. The gift shop next door sells souvenirs: T-shirts, key chains, posters and other music related doodads. Review © 2007, Wcities |

Hot and spicy chicken |
123 Ewing Drive Nashville, TN 37207-2960 United States +1 615 226 9442 |
Forget about fast food chicken sandwiches that claim to be spicy, this is the real thing. Four levels of heat are available: mild, which is frightfully spicy in its own right; medium, which will make you grimace in painful bliss; hot, which is seriously life threatening; extra hot—don't try this unless you have medical personnel nearby. Sandwiches are served with pickle spears and beans or slaw. Vending machines provide carbonated refreshment. Review © 2007, Wcities |
