This two-tiered East Village hangout pulls off a neat trick by feeling both hip and neighborhood friendly at the same time. Downstairs is more dive-like and has less seating than the spacious upstairs, which has comfy couches and chairs. The abundant windows allow patrons to gaze out at the Avenue A sideshow.
