37 Arts in midtown Manhattan is the brainchild of veteran theater producer Alan Schuster. Three commercial theater venues are housed in this 50,000 square foot complex—theater A seats 499, theater B seats 399 and theater C seats 290. The Baryshnikov Art Centre occupies the three top floors. Started in 2005 37 Arts opened with Hurlyburly starring Ethan Hawk.
