Located at a spot where three restaurants have failed, Accademia di Vino is looking to break a string of bad luck and add to NYCs Italian dining scene. Amongst its specialties is an excellent five hundred bottle wine list and thin crusted grilled pizzas with unusual toppings such as mixed mushrooms and sheep’s cheese, watermelon, goat cheese and mint and sausage and broccoli rabe. The menu also features a variety of tartares, carpaccios, pastas and combinations of Italian cheeses. Special mention must be made of an excellent Tuna Carpaccio and a wholesome entr�e of marinated chicken.
