Back Forty is a restaurant in New York that serves traditional American Cuisine. Complementing the authentic menu are the earthy interiors with a lot of wooden furnishings and even some farmhouse tools. The ambience here is quite homely and the prices aren't all too steep either. The place serves some excellent cuisine, some of the stand-outs being the "Maine-shrimp-and-bacon beignets" and "Catskills trout". There are other simple but savory delicacies as well, including the cauliflower gratin and even the slightly spicy roast chicken. There are some regular alcoholic beverages but one could also experiment with the ice cream float.
