Basso56, a swank Italian eatery is quite popular with the New-Yorkers; and for a good reason. The restaurant hand-picks traditional Italian spices and flavors and cooks them to perfection. Set the ball rolling with the grilled eggplant or calamari, next come the ravioli and risotto. Not to forget the good old pasta and salad. Finish off with one of the mouth-melting desserts and you would have had a fine Italian meal. All the dishes ordered here are served with potatoes and veggies of the day.
