A Stephen Starr restaurant, the Buddakan New York spells luxurious dining in Manhattan. The ceiling of the dining hall here is about two floors high and the walls have ancient Chinese scapes on them. The oak laden interiors, huge chandeliers and the grand table that can seat around 34 people together make dining at the mansion a really interesting experience. Feast on the likes of tea-smoked chicken, which is a must have in itself and among sake's try the Tokimeki. A note of caution though, if you want to avoid crowds then venture here before nine.
