Filipino food is definitely worth exploring, particularly in this upscale setting. Located in the heart of Soho, Cendrillon is often loud and busy, so be prepared to talk above the din. The bar is a pleasant spot to stop for a drink, before settling down in the attractive dining room. Filipino cuisine uses vinegar to good effect, and the pungent flavor of Chicken Adobo is balanced by tasty bean thread noodles. Prices are moderate, at around $15 for lunch and $30 to $35 for dinner.
