Since merging with Chemical Bank in 1996, Chase Manhattan Bank has been one of the most dominant New York City retail banks and one of the largest banks in the world. First incorporated in 1799, Chase maintains dozens of full service branches throughout Manhattan and even more automatic teller machines. Most Chase branches offer currency exchange services, but customers with special requests should call the main customer service line to find a branch that carries the needed currency.
