Formerly a Howard Johnson, this low-cost hotel is now part of the Clarion chain. Although it boasts a Park Avenue address, it is in the less fashionable (but hipper) end. There are a number of interesting sites located nearby including the United Nations, Gramercy Park, Empire State Building and Grand Central Terminal. In-room amenities include a coffeemaker, complimentary newspaper and work desk. A multilingual staff is available to assist guests.
