Cooper Union, established in 1859, is a historic meeting place and also a place for meetings of the mind. The internationally renowned venue hosts a wide assortment of culture, artistic and especially intellectual personages and events including speeches given by Presidents Lincoln, Grant, Cleveland, Taft and Theodore Roosevelt.
