Brightly-colored walls, a turquoise bar and cheery tablecloths make up the casual interiors of cubana cafe el chulo. Photos and symbolic Cuban knick-knacks adorn the walls at this warm and friendly eatery. Caribbean and Latin American dishes largely make up the menu, with favorites like black bean soup, Cuban sandwiches, and flan featuring. Also available are specialty drinks and fruity concoctions. Although the food isn't authentic Cuban, the menu is interesting and varied with a few French touches. With the inexpensive prices, its no wonder that it gets pretty packed.
