Although the barbecue served here is not deemed officially authentic, who cares? It is tasty, portions are large, the place is fun and prices are low. It is often crowded and noisy, but most patrons seem to enjoy that. Entrees like barbecued chicken and barbecued ribs are favorites, with brisket, burgers and fish trailing not too far behind. Side dishes include onion rings, chicken wings, mashed potatoes and country gravy, cole slaw, corn on the cob, and cornbread. Also try the huge frozen daiquiris.
