This Upper East Side restaurant is pure glamour and sophistication, sprinkled here and there with camaraderie. The decor charms you with its contemporary stark whites and reds complimented by dark wood and elegant chandeliers. The menu offers Modern America Cuisine laced with culinary innovations such as chorizo oil and lobster foam - executed in the Dayboat Sea Scallops Benedict. Lunch offers two prix fix options starting at $24.07, an inexpensive option to sample some of the menu's best. Menu delights include Dover Sole, butternut squash gnocchi, and Bacon Wrapped Muscovy Duck; the duck is stuffed with a shrimp and pistachio filling. David Burke's Cheesecake Lollipop Tree, with a raspberry bubble-gum whipped cream dip, is refreshing and light, as well as an example of the chef's humor and playful attitude towards food.
