In the heart of the East Village, Dempsey's Pub meets the expectations of an Irish establishment in comfortable fashion. A few steps down from the sidewalk, Dempsey's consists of a deep long bar up front with more seating and standing room farther back. Owned by the same people as the Baggot Inn, Dempsey's offers Irish music every Tuesday and a quiz night on Wednesday. Pool and darts are available, and large televisions throughout allow for nearly every seat and vantage point to take in the big game.
