Keyspan Park is home to the Brooklyn Cyclones. The ballpark is built on the same template as most others. However, it deftly makes use of the surrounding attractions. A few blocks away from here is Astroland, the amusement park at Coney Island; it makes for a wonderful view over the left field fence. In 1963, original Jets owner Leon Hess purchased a failing football team called the New York Titans. He renamed the team, and in 1969 the Jets won their only Super Bowl title. The team has since moved to Giants Stadium at the Meadowlands Sports Complex in East Rutherford, NJ (also home to the New York Giants football team), but most people still consider the Jets to be a New York team. This structure is termed as the 'oldest exponent of fine arts and entertainment' in New Jersey. Set up in 1925, it was initially called the Salaam Temple and was renamed Newark Symphony Hall towards the late 70s. The exterior of the building is laced with huge imposing columns, whereas the interior is designed in Egyptian and Greek styles. Luciano Pavarotti, Sarah Vaughan, Marian Anderson, Lily Pons, the Boston and Cleveland Symphony Orchestras, and the Ballet Russe de Monte Carlo have performed at this venue.
