Crêpes in Chinatown |
125, Bowery (Grand Street) New York, NY 10002 +1 212 966 2266 |
Get to Bowery and Grand Street, and on the south east corner is where you'll find Fusion Crêpes. It's a street stand and that's Douglas Ho whipping up the crêpes. As the name suggests, the crêpes are a combination of French, American and Japanese tastes and textures. They come in a variety of flavors, both sweet and savory. There's Nutella chocolate, butterscotch, sliced banana for the ones with the sweet tooth and on the savory side, anything goes. Tofu, mushrooms, mayo, barbecue sauce and anything else you may fancy. Another good reason to come here; it's a French crêperie in Chinatown in New York run by a chef who's a Malaysian born to Chinese parents! Review © 2009, Wcities |
