This offspring of the highly successful Il Mulino is not as expensive nor as crowded as its parent, but the massive and memorable Italian dishes are nearly as good, and the service is just as professional. Il Giglio is located in Tribeca, where it is accessible to the Wall Street crowd and thus filled with suits at lunch. It is also popular with the increasingly upscale residents of the neighborhood.
