Izzy Guss opened his store in 1979. The original store is to be found at Cedarhurst. Choose your pickles from sour, half-sour, quarter sour, spicy, saltwater and new pickles to olives, sauerkraut, green tomatoes, and garlic. Barrels are brought in daily. Cucumber fans get new pickles that have been in fermentation only for a few days and you can still break them with a snap.
