Harry's at Water Taxi Beach in Long Island City is a welcome retreat from the heat of a Manhattan summer. Cross the East River to this man-made beach with shabby shack ensemble. Basic grilled food is available along with beer, soda and some exotic drinks. Play volleyball during the day and dance to DJ spun hits at night.
