This sushi bar has exceptionally fresh and tasty fish, as well as the option of dining in an attractive Greenwich Village garden. There are no reservations taken here, so people pop in all evening long. The regulars know that Hasaki will be crowded no matter when they show up, but it is worth it for the high quality food. There is a small interior dining room, which is cozy and softly lit. Appetizers include eel and tofu. In addition to sushi and sashimi, there is teriyaki, sukiyaki, tempura and steak.
