This seedy East Village legend is everything you would want and expect a dive bar to be: dank, cheap and loved by local drunks. This being the East Village, starving artist types also frequent the Holiday. You might not want to make this your primary hangout in the city, but it can be fun for a couple of beers if you are in the area.
