With good food and a commendable wine list, plus excellent service and warm ambience, it is no wonder that this is a popular dining spot. A tin ceiling rises high over lace-curtained windows in the dark, intimate French provincial interior. The namesake garden features hanging grapevines. Coq au Vin, cassoulet, Steak Frites, breast of organic chicken and the fresh fish of the day are all popular entrees, and the chef performs wonders with his pates, sweetbreads, tartares and desserts.
