Overlooking the Hudson River and housed in the Hebrew Home for the Aged, the Judaica Museum recounts 150 years of Jewish history and includes some 800 artifacts representative of traditional ceremonies held in synagogues and homes. The museum offers a variety of cultural and educational programs including films, a library, lectures and courses. Be sure to wander through the rest of the retirement home: you'll see the likes of Picasso, Matisse and Van Gogh on the walls, all originals. Admission is free. Review © 2009, Wcities |
