For an intimate dinner in East Village make your way to Korean Temple cuisine where Joohee Maeng and her sister give personal attention to their guests. The ingredients are picked up from the market at 14th Street and Union Square to give you a fresh selection of dishes to choose from. Homemade, healthy and hygienic cooking is what describes Maeng's style; and she modifies traditional recipes to suit modern taste. The signature Temple vegetarian autumn rolls are quite a hit. This is a tiny space and is suitable for smaller groups, so you may want to refrain from a class reunion or large family outing here.
