Architecture and history buffs will want to make a trip to this landmark in Hudson Valley. Located in Sleepy Hollow, this place can be reached by car or rail. John D Rockefeller of Standard Oil fame lived in this sprawling acre mansion once, and now its home to the various tours organized by the visitor center. Try the Grand tour; the price is right.
