Lassi is a small Indian eatery in Greenwich village, famous for its parathas and lassi. Lassi is sweet or salty buttermilk, which is available in a variety of flavors ranging from mango and rose to lemon blossom. The parathas are flatbreads made out of dough and are stuffed with vegetables or meat. Sarson ka saag, mattar paneer and baingan bharta cater to the vegetarian pallete while the lamb gosht and chicken preparations appease the non-vegetarians. As the place is small a take out or ordering in might be a good idea.
