This American restaurant features impressive seafood dishes and an outstanding raw bar. It also boasts an elegant yet informal ambience and excellent wines. Patrons enjoy dishes like yellowfin tuna tartare with a delicate sesame soy sauce, as well as succulent oysters, lobster, shrimp, clams and salmon. The food is a little pricey, with an average meal running around $55. But if you are looking for a quiet, classy place to eat on the Upper East Side, you cannot do much better than the Lenox Room.
