This Greenwich Village club attracts bands that already have something of a local following, and it gives them the chance to shine. The sound system and lighting are excellent and although the music is varied you never know when you are going to see a diamond in the rough. Local groups like 'Moon Boot Lover' and 'Conehead Buddha' got their start in this humble establishment, and they certainly were not helped along by their names.
