Vintage Italian bar |
176 1/2 Mulberry Street (between Broome and Grand streets) New York, NY 10013 +1 212 226 9345 |
Everybody calls this place Tony's. It has vintage, cracked, honeycomb tiled floors, old metal kitchen tables and a painted-over tin ceiling. This smoke-filled hangout probably looks much like it did when it opened its doors in 1908. Frank Sinatra is usually playing on the jukebox, and the regulars are always at the bar. The drink prices are as almost as old as the place itself. You will pay $3 for domestic beer and $3.50 for Heineken. Mixed drinks range from $4 to $7. Cash only. Review © 2009, Wcities |
