For decades, the New Museum of Contemporary Art has been dedicated to shaking the foundations of the art world by exhibiting the works of living artists. The art on display is always cutting-edge, and the artists are often unknown. 2007 saw the unveiling of a striking new facility resembling a gleaming pile of boxes.
