Established in 1905 by Dr. Jokichi Takamine, the Nippon Club focuses on improving cultural and business relations between the American people and the Japanese community. It is the only Japanese social club in the United States. Nippon Club hosts cultural workshops, classes, and business and social events. The building itself has numerous conference and multipurpose rooms, including a formal dining room. The gallery functions as a multipurpose room, and has so far hosted exhibitions, musical performances, cocktail parties and seminars.
