With terrific cocktails and a classical, understated interior, the bar at Peter's is one of the best spots to meet someone on the Upper West Side. It is also a pretty good place to hang out, especially if you resemble much of its clientele-a sophisticated crowd of 30-somethings who are always dressed to impress. Located within easy walking distance of Lincoln Center for the Performing Arts, the restaurant also serves some pretty good dishes, including Smoked Salmon and Chicken Margarita.
