Planet Thailand is a local Williamsburg favorite that has developed an outstanding reputation in the neighborhood. Once an unpretentious, minimalist spot, the establishment more than doubled its size by moving into an airy loft space. Works by local artists now adorn the walls. As always, dishes like Pad Thai and chicken curry are among the best and most authentic in the city. If Thai does not appeal, try the sumptuous sushi bar. Along with the restaurant's success, the clientele has developed something of an attitude. Cash only.
