This small, casually elegant kosher Italian restaurant fills a need on the Upper West Side, by providing a youthful alternative to the more conservative kosher restaurants in the area. There is even an enclosed sidewalk café, and the clientele consist mostly of neighborhood residents. Everything on the menu is good, particularly pasta dishes like penne alla vodka and spinach ravioli. Provi Provi is a dairy restaurant, meaning it does not serve any meat.
