Beat the heat by participating in this competition, but don't forget to check on your energy and stamina levels, apart from your speed of course. This 2.4 miles race begins at the Hudson River Park at Pier 62 and ends at Battery Park City in the North Cove Yacht Harbor. If you don't think you can endure the length of the race course, then don't forget to come by and cheer those who can.
