This glass-walled restaurant at Prospect Heights is the perfect place to stop by for some American or French cuisine. The Executive Chef, Alexandre Tchistov, cooks up an eclectic range he likes to call "American home cooking". Take your pick from the 'Market Menu', which changes daily, as the chef prefers to bring to you the freshest of what's available locally. The likes of Snails with Spaetzle and Scallion Coulis, and Chicken with Corn and Shiitakes in Pink-Peppercorn Sauce feature on the menu. There is also an affordable range of French wine bottles for you to take your pick from. One more distinctive feature about Sorrel is that it's one of the few that doesn't accept credit cards.
