Music From Around the Globe |
37 West 26th Street New York, NY 10010 +1 212 576 1155 http://www.satalla.com |
While there are various live music venues in the area, Satalla is set apart by its ethos. Performers represent all corners of the globe in all genres from Latin to Jazz, Celtic to Blues, and Punk to African. Past shows have featured the likes of blues guitarist Johnny A, Latin guitarist Aquiles Baez, Irish specialists The Kane Sisters, and folk singer Bill Morrissey. The 200-seat venue provides an intimate experience that will transport you to a different culture. Besides great music and a full bar, Satalla's menu features a diverse selection of appetizers from Baked Brie to sauteed Chicken Livers and entrees, soups, salads, and sandwiches. Be sure to try one of the Open Face Brick Oven Focaccia sandwiches and save room for the Chocolate Fondue or Key Lime Tart. See website for a full menu and details on all upcoming performances.
