Established in 1937 when Yorkville was still a thriving German community, this place has maintained the loyalty of its former patrons, even though many must order their bratwursts, bockwursts, blutwursts, Bavarian loaves and Black Forest hams now by mail. Part of the reason for this loyalty is the consistent high quality of its sausages, hams and other products, some of which have won gold medals in Germany, Austria and Holland through the years.
