This Lenox Hill Japanese restaurant has cooking pots at the tables, so every patron who so desires can go shabu-shabu (or "swish-swish") in cooking thinly sliced meats, vegetables and seafood. A simple place with sketches of movie stars on the walls, Shabu-Shabu 70 is located conveniently close to Hunter College. In addition to Tempura, Teriyaki, Sukiyaki and skewered meats and vegetables barbecued at tableside, an impressive sushi bar is at hand.
