Susannah Gaterud-Mack, the owner of this chic clothing boutique in the newly hip neighborhood of Nolita, also owns a catering business in the area. (Smaak means taste in Swedish.) While these two businesses would not normally seem to go together, Ms. Gaterud-Mack certainly knows clothes. The store is stocked with trendy but wearable clothes from rising young Scandinavian designers. It is all colorful and sophisticated, sort of like a more upscale and personal H&M.
