This restaurant is popular with young Japanese people living in New York City, as well as visiting Japanese business people. It is also a frequent choice of many local residents for its high quality soba and udon noodle dishes. There is no sushi sold here, just those wonderful noodles and a few side dishes and desserts. They also have a good sake list. The ambience is elegant and mellow, with servers that put pride into their work.
