Spice Market, run by the notoriously creative Jean-Georges Vongerichten, is a sly take on Asian cuisine. Imagine ducking into a street-vendor's stall in Bangkok to order up a quick, exotically spicy meal; now re-imagine that meal as a mix of pan-Asian influences with classic French training, and you're approaching what you might order here. The drink menu is as creative as the food, and taken with dessert, the entire restaurant is a challenge to your taste buds. Take it up some night - just don't expect tradition.
