St. Luke's-Roosevelt Hospital Center came about as a merger between the St. Luke and Roosevelt hospitals in 1979. Emergency room, ambulatory-surgery center, heart center, woman's health pavilion and emergency mental health services are provided here. It is affiliated with Beth Israel Medical Center. This is a community hospital with more than 1,076 beds, and there is public parking available nearby. St. Luke's address is 1111 Amsterdam Avenue at 114th Street, while Roosevelt is located at 1000 Tenth Avenue at 58th Street.
