The Stanton Social is a good example of modern fusion tapas, set in a classy Lower East Side atmosphere. During the less busy hours, cute, small plates swish quietly around the restaurant, transported by perfectly attentive servers. Later, when people pack in and noise and business levels rise, the constant movement and loud music may detract from what would otherwise be a romantic dinner.
