Toons is named after its proprietress Ginger Toons, who also runs the restaurant's sister establishment located downtown called Café Sage. Head to Toons located in the hip neighborhood of the West Village for the most authentic and flavorful Thai food in New York City. Outstanding dishes on the menu include appetizers called Poa Pia or Thai spring rolls, which are not fried but served fresh, the Kai Kra Prow, Panang Nuur and Pad-Si-Eew.
