The United States Tennis Association (USTA) National Tennis Center in Flushing Meadows, Queens is home to the annual U.S. Open, one of the major events of the professional tennis world. Thousands of spectators flock to New York to witness the event, held every year in the normally sweltering days of late August and early September.
