Vietnamese-American in Carroll Gardens |

Known for its watermelon margaritas and martinis, Uncle Pho is located two doors down from its sister restaurant Patois. (It is owned by the same trio of Alan Harding, Jim Mamary and Paul Mamary.) Oddly enough though, despite its name the restaurant does not serve the standard Vietnamese noodle dish pho. Instead, try the coconut bouillabaisse, plum chicken and Steak Frites. The bamboo lighting, rice paper and exposed beams create quite a comforting 80-seat interior. No reservations are accepted. Review © 2009, Wcities |
